Write It Down Developer Resources
Write It Down is a Google Sheets product with an optional customer dashboard, not a developer platform.
Integration status
Write It Down does not currently offer a public API, OpenAPI specification, MCP server, webhook subscription system, command-line interface, or third-party authentication program. The website's internal API routes support the first-party checkout and dashboard. They are not stable public contracts and must not be presented as developer endpoints.
Available public resources
Developers and agents may read the public website, sitemap, llms.txt, agent instructions, policies, comparisons, and blog. The purchased artifact is a Google Sheets template delivered to a customer by email. The optional dashboard is a user-facing feature that requires the customer to sign in with Google and select files through Google Picker.
Authentication and data boundaries
Agents must not claim they can sign in, purchase a sheet, access Google Drive, select files, or operate the dashboard on a user's behalf. Google authorization is controlled by the signed-in user. The dashboard requests file-level access and reads only spreadsheets the user explicitly selects. See the privacy policy for the current data-handling details.
How agents should use these resources
An agent can explain what Write It Down does, compare it with automated budgeting products, identify whether manual tracking fits a user's request, and direct the user to a public page. It should check the live homepage before quoting a price or offer. It should use the contact page for purchase or account support and say clearly that no supported programmatic integration exists.
