Instead of syncing bank accounts and auto-categorizing transactions, you write down each expense yourself. This creates awareness, which is what actually changes spending habits.
Write It Down was created by @larsencc, who started tracking finances manually in 2020 using a spreadsheet from his grandfather.
After years of refining the system, he turned it into a product that others could use. The goal was simple: keep it minimal, keep it effective, and keep it manual.
After purchase, you receive a Google Sheet template via email. You make a copy, and it's yours forever, no recurring fees, no app to maintain.
There are two versions: a Basic Sheet ($5.99) for simple income/expense tracking, and an Advanced Sheet ($8.99) with multi-currency support, budgeting tools, and 50 bonus tips.
